If I could give them fewer stars I would. They have since changed their name to Lock, Stock, & Barrel. I have had multiple tattoos and over 11 piercings so I am rather experienced with the types of services they provide. I went to them and got my navel pierced. I noticed at the time that the piercing was not deep enough, but in the week that followed decided it was bad enough to takeout. I took multiple pictures both prior to removing the piercing and after and contacted the store through their facebook page. The owner took almost an entire month to contact back, apologized for the piercing and in trying to determine which piercer did the piercing realized that a male not employed with them had. I explained my sister also had received a tattoo and piercing at that time and that the piercer had pierced her crooked. She was apologetic and agreed to contact me back 2 days later. After not contacting back, I contacted her and again she apologized and agreed to either repierce my navel and give me a premium navel ring or give a full refund, and to come in whenever. Allowing my piercing more time to heal I gave it a couple weeks to allow my bellybutton more time to heal and my sister went in to get the premium navel ring. At this time the staff contacted the owner who claimed we had missed scheduled appointments and would not be receiving anything from them. I contacted the owner directly quoting our conversation where she had said to come in whenever. She then stated they no longer had paperwork of us having gotten pierced there and that we had never been there, and claimed we were trying to scam them out of the $25 cost for each of our piercings. I explained I had a bank statement verifying my story with the exact date I had been stating as well as cost. She went on to say my bank statement meant nothing and that unless I provide a paper receipt handed within 2 days I could do nothing. While I also had/have the paper receipt once again showing the date, cost, and procedure I am a full time student and work and was not able to get in there within the allotted time. Consider how botched the piercing was, the documented conversation showing their agreement of fault followed by denial of us being there by losing their copy of our services and with my own proof of payment I contacted a lawyer. The lawyer explained I had a great case against them and could very well sue them for thousands, but that the fees and time may not be worth it to me. While I agree in a monetary way, I feel it is important for others to know how poor they run their business. I have printed off my entire conversation with them showing how completely unprofessional and even how illegal their work is and can provide that information if needed.
