Our patient advocates will determine if the symptoms that you are experiencing may be from PAD. If indicated, the patient advocate will set up an appointment for a full evaluation and ultrasound. Peripheral artery disease is most prevalent in patients with a history of smoking, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and that are over the age of 65. Left untreated, PAD can result in complications that could lead to an amputation.
