This was my first time to need an electrician, so my choice was made after reading other ratings on this company.As promised, the two technicians were on time, knowledgeable and efficient. My problem was solved in a minimum of time and the charge was fair. I will call them again.

I CALLED RICHARDSON READY ELECTRIC BECAUSE I HAD PARTIAL POWER AFTER THE LADY WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE GAVE ME ALL THE RATES SHE EXPLAINED THAT IT WOULD BE LATER THAT DAY BEFORE SOMEONE COULD GET OUT WICH WAS OK BUT I STILL HAD SOME QUESTIONS WHICH I NEEDED ANSWERED SINCE I DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOT THE POSSIBILITES OF A FIRE. SHE TOLD ME TO HOLD ON TO SPEAK WITH AN ELECTRICIAN AFTER ANSWERING SEVERAL QUESTIONS THE MAN TOLD ME THAT SINCE I WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE AFTERNOON THAT I SHOULD CALL MY SERVICE PROVIDER AND GET THEM TO COME OUT , I DID THIS AND WHEN THE POWER COMPANY CAME OUT THEY FOUND A LOOSE WIRE WHICH FEEDS MY HOUSE THEY MADE THE REPAIRS ( NO CHARGE ) AND I WAS ABLE TO CANCELLTHE CALL I HAD MADE WITH RICHARDSON READY ELECTRIC, THIS SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY. THANKS TO RICHARDSON READY WHO WAS HONEST ( WHICH I LIKE ) THEY HAVE MADE A GOOD CUSTOMER OF ME I WILL ONLY CALL THEM FROM NOW ON. THIS IS A VERY HONEST AND PROFESSINAL COMPANY.

I had an electrical problem at my home. I called Richardson Ready and made an appointment. The serviceman called to let me know that they were on the way. They showed up, worked quickly and had the problem fixed in no time. They took the time to explain what the problem was. I will be calling them again.

I am a Realtor, and this company was GREAT! They were able to come quickly, did an excellent job, and went beyond the call of duty. The guys were trustworthy, as I had to go out on an errand, and did great workmanship. I would recommend them to anyone in Dallas.

I lost power to one section of my home. When I called this company the rates were explained to me and I scheduled the service call. When the servicemen arrived, they explained to me what the trouble shooting procedure was and after about two hours they found the problem. They quickly cleaned up and reminded me of the senior citizen discount that was available to me. Hopefully I won't have anymore problems but if I do I will call these folks again.

I have been using them over 15 years. They have always been very professional, courteous and competitively priced. I feel that the services they offer are truly a benefit to the community. The last time they were out, I had a bad breaker. When the service tech was finished, I noticed on the invoice that he had written down he used a spare existing breaker already in the panel and I was not charged for another circuit breaker. I would have never known. I will continue to use this company.

They add at least one hour to job when applying senior citizen discount.

They did a good job resolving electrical issue; however, glass lamp shade was chipped by helper. They gave us credit on bill for chipped shade; however, they bumped up price for replacement parts at 4.00/each. Original estimated price for replacement part was $14.00 each; the second crew did not inform us in advance that replacement part cost was higher. Using this method, we actually only received $2.00 for chipped lamp shade. They also bill for full hour even though they are on the job 15 minutes into second hour. Also, they indicated that a helper would only be sent if required; however, they sent helper without checking with us first nor did they quote a fee for the helper until bill was prepared on-site.

WASTE OF TIME!

Whined about the heat and tried to postpone the work. Sent me on several errands for a drillbit they didn't have, parts, ect. After having me run to Home Depot TWICE, they told me they weren't going to be able to finish the work today because time was up. They had done nothing except pull two wires through the ceiling while I was gone. Tried to charge me for 2 hours of work and reschedule me for a week later to finish it. Don't call these people.
