She and Dr. Brendel collaborate with each other and other medical providers to deliver the most medically appropriate care possible. Their network includes orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, psychologists, physical therapists, primary care physicians and chiropractors. Together, they work to get to the bottom of what is causing a patient’s pain, physically and psychologically.
- Family PracticeJenni Mincoff is a board certified and state-licensed nurse practitioner who works with Dr. Brendel to help patients find pain relief. Jenni has been in healthcare for nearly 10 years. Much of her career focused on family practice, maternity care and urgent care, so she brings a broad perspective to pain management and considers the whole patient when providing care.

- Mental HealthWe aim to pinpoint and treat the physical source of your pain, working to identify underlying issues. Left untreated, these issues may block your ability to find relief. When appropriate, we collaborate with other medical professionals to treat you as a whole person. From surgeons to mental health professionals, we will pair you with the specialists who will provide you with the same high level of care you will come to know at IPSW.

- UltrasoundDiagnostic ultrasound examination (used to assist in the evaluation): Used to reveal damage or inflammation that cannot be captured on x-ray or discovered with a physical examination. Will help to understand best treatment options.
- MRIWhen she started seeing Dr. Brendel he did an MRI and made quick work of diagnosing the pain as a nerve in Pam’s leg. After a long year of pain and doctors’ appointments Pam had an answer, and fortunately the treatment was not highly complicated or invasive. Dr. Brendel could relieve Pam’s pain by giving her a shot of cortisone that corrected the issue and relieved the pain for 3 years.
- Computed TomographyDr. Brendel will begin with a thorough review of all your medical information, including any previous medical testing you may have undergone such as x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- SciaticaTali Johnson is no stranger to doctors and back pain, as she has degenerative disc disease she has had to go to more than a few appointments. When she began experiencing pain in her lower back from Sciatica, her back surgeon referred her to Dr. Brendel. The pain was so debilitating that she could not sit or stand for more than a half hour without having to change positions. This pain would make her feet go numb, and make most day to day activities challenging.
