- UltrasoundUltrasound imaging, also called ultrasonography, uses sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. When the sound waves strike an object, they bounce back and product echoes. By measuring these echo waves, it is possible to determine how far away the object is and its size, shape and consistency (whether the object is solid, filled with fluid or both). Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can show the structure and movement of the body's internal organs, as well blood flowing through blood vessels or movement of joins or tendons in the musculoskeletal system. Ultrasound exams do not use ionizing radiation, which is a type of radiation that has the potential to cause some level of damage to human tissue.
- MRIMagnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a sophisticated and highly accurate imaging technique used to diagnose diseases of the brain, spine, skeleton, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and blood vessels.
- RadiologyDiagnostic Radiology Associates (DRA) is an independent group of radiologist and technologists devoted to their specialty for over 25 years. We are not affiliated with any other healthcare organization and as such, are able to provide objective, affordable, patient-focused care. By keeping medical services affordable DRA has demonstrated a commitment to our community that outweighs any corporate bottom line.

- Mammography3D Mammography detects 41% more invasive breast cancers than 2D Mammography and reduces false positive breast cancers by 40%. FDA approved as clinically superior to traditional mammography, 3D mammography allows doctors to see masses and distortions associated with cancers significantly more clearly. 3D Mammography is a potentially life saving technology and is available at Diagnostic Radiology Associates.
- Computed TomographyDiagnostic Radiology Associates leads the area in the use of Digital Mammography, CT Scans, MRl, Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI), and other radiological tests. Our dedicated radiologists and technologists treat every patient as they would a family member, taking care to ensure the comfort and privacy of every person who walks through our doors.
