A local favorite. Great food and friendly service. Chiaco Deep Dish or a good thin crust, they have it all!!! Great salads and bakes wings too!They even make a pizza that has veggies in the sauce. My kids love it and they have no idea!They are not cheap like the local delivery place, but you get what you pay for! This is a great South Bay local favorite!

great food that is worth the few extra dollars

I found Fresh Brothers Pizza To-go menu on my door a few weeks back and I started reading the backstory of this place. So I'm super amped about Chicago style pizza, I feel I can trust a place since the owners are from Chicago, so I give it a try.



I order up a deep dish pizza with pepperonis, pepperoncinis, black olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, and pineapple. I also ordered the hot wings. Here's how I would break down the scores:



Pizza: -1 star. Yes, I want my star back! That's how unimpressed I was. What I ate was NOT Chicago style pizza, it was just really thick crust in a sad excuse of a pizza. The crust easily became frail and soggy because there was so much goddamn grease, it was like holding up a baby that hadn't peed the whole day. The ingredients were also sub-par and I feel they really held back on the sauce - not very generous there. If the ingredients were fine, I'd definitely give them a shot at the thin crust, but with the massive amounts of grease - I'd probably need to wrap the slices in 10 sheets of Kleenex Viva. Not worth it.



Wings: 2 stars. I was a bit skeptical to try baked buffalo wings, but if Alton Brown can pull it off, then I'm sold. NOT HOT AT ALL.



Delivery: 3 stars - quick and painless. They said 45 minutes, showed up in less than 25, and they actually found my place so that bumps them up from a 2 star experience. I still wonder if the delivery guy overheard me singing, "Albi The Racist Dragon." Hmmm...



Take the average of all three scores and you get 2 stars.



I'm sticking to Garlic Jim's recession buster deals. And for authentic Chicago style pizza, I'm sticking to Pizz'a Chicago up in Palo Alto.
