Founded in 1975, MedAmerica is a medical practice support and consulting company that provides innovative products and services to support emergency, primary and hospital-based care. It specializes in emergency medicine, ambulatory care, correctional and occupational medicine, and on-call physician coverage. The company provides practice management services to more than 1,700 physicians, and over 35 ambulatory care and occupational health practices. MedAmerica is nationally recognized, and provides a wide range of services and consultation to various medical groups in the United States, including Paragon Physicians Medical Group, California Emergency Physicians Medical Group, Sutter Emergency Medical Associates, Iroquois Emergency Medicine Specialists, and Galen Inpatient Physicians. MedAmerica also serves district and county hospitals, trauma centers, independent nonprofit organizations, and academic university hospitals.
