The other day, I was running around town - on my way home, I noticed I got a flat tire! I pulled into Westwood Village to check it out....a flat! I used my jack and lifted my little Toyota but I had a hard time loosening the lug-nuts. I thought for sure the men in Kragen would be able to help. I know they aren't a tire shop, but certainly someone should help me out! I went inside and saw three employees, two at the counter (only one helping customers) and the third in back un-loading stock; I approached him. "Sir, could you help me change my flat tire?" he looks at his watch and says, "I don't know" he then walks over to the counter and says, "She needs someone to help her change her flat tire" the man helping customers plainly says, "We don't do that." I spoke up and said, "I have it all jacked up, I just need some help with the lug-nuts since they are put on with that gun thing" again he responds, "We don't do that." I could barely believe what I was hearing! Tears welled up in my eyes and I began to leave the store....thankfully an elderly couple spoke up and said they would help me! This man had an ARM-SLING and he removed it to roll up his sleeves on his cowboy shirt to expose this puss-filled nobby thing below his elbow. He changed my tire for me! :) The whole time cursing at the idiots in Kragen for not helping a young girl out!

This Kragen is our local auto-parts store. My husband and I have visited it often. After this incident we will NEVER go to a Kragen's again.
