I needed to get my car inspected and Aamco had this free inspection with admissions so i took my car there. They found a few rpoblems which i was well aware about and helped me fix it in the most cost effective way. My car was in and out so quick i was very satified and entend on taking my car back there from now on THANKS AAMCO!
I felt that I got good information and was satisfied with the work that was done.
Have had no problem with my van since I last brought it in, Job well done.
Helpful and honest manager/owner... advises on repairs and costs and makes me feel like I'm in good hands. Good communication through the repair process. I would definitely recommend AAMCO of Reading to friends and family. Also, they're the only place that seems to know Saabs and other foreign cars well.

My 1998 impala has over 130000 miles on it and it's seen better days. These guys were great about helping me stay in my budget. They told me what repairs I needed but said I didn't have to do them all at one time. So they prioritized them and saved me a bunch of money. Now we have a plan to fix the rest of the stuff over next couple of months. This was great because I knew I couldn't afford a new car right now. I strongly recommend this Aamco repair shop to anyone looking to stay in budget and get a fair and honest mechanic.

I Drive a VW so you can imagine how many problems they have and how hard they can be to solve. I cant even remember all the shops i took my car at to get fixed, and every time i'd get the run around .. you know "" o its this "" and then you spend a ton to fix it and the problems still thereso i take it to the next place and get the same answer. I got fed up and refused to take my car anywhere else until my friend explained how Aamco does this Tran Scan Check for free and they'll tell me the problem before i dish out a penny. so i took my car there (with very lox expectations) and to my suprize they told me that i had a broken wire in my engine causeing all these issues and they fixed it for next to nothing. i was shocked that for once a place wasent trying to just take my money but they acually wanted to help!!
I would caution anyone who considers this garage. The owner does very shady business. They advertise Free Engine Light Checking. I contacted the owner prior to dropping my car off and explained the issue I was having along with the code I had read at Advance Auto. The owner said they could fix the problem. After two days and each time I had to follow up on the status of the car they said it is going to take "Advance Diagnostics" and is outside the "Free" engine check @ 80 per hour and would take 1 - 1 1/2 hours of work. I told them I wanted it fixed and they said the issue was a hose and charge for for 2 hours diagnostics and 5.00 hose. To make things better my engine light came on again in about 2 weeks. I had the code read again at advance auto to see if it was the same problem. The same issue returned. I contacted the AAMCO and they looked at my car again (they didn't charge me this time to look at it) however if I wanted it fixed it would be 450.00 for Carbon Build Up.
