Warning never send anyone ever! My mom was on the express rehab side starting on 11/8/14. This place should a complete lack of care. She was admitted from the hospital after a total knee replacement. She was left in the room by herself with no pain meds from noon till 9pm and that was after several attempts by pt. and family calling. They left her unable to get out of bed crying in pain from for hours. It only got worse her roommate had dementia and cried out every 10 minutes that she was lost. She went for therapy no therapy for days when she checked in. No physician on site only comes in 2 days a week. Hope you don't need medical attention the other days. My list is long and we checked her out quickly. Some of the staff was super nice but bound there limitations and had no follow through.

I want to express my appreciation to the rehabilitation center of Raymore for the excellent care that I received for 30 days of rehab. The therapist worked with me daily to build up my strength and to learn to walk again after a broken pelvic bone. Each person I met seemed more than willing to help with every need I had...and with always a smile or word of encouragement. The food was tasty and well prepared. The room was clean and comfortable. My mother is a resident here. Theft of her personal items is rampant. I purchased 4 shirts for her, had her name inside with permanent marker, and they disappeared in 2 weeks. All they left her in her wardrobe is 2 SWEATSHIRTS - in the middle of JULY. This is very sad!

My mother is a resident there and she complains about the food, but I have tasted it and it is very good. The nursing staff in her unit is excellent and caring. The facility is clean and they do a very good job with having activities for the residents.

I was in the Express rehab section of this facility from February 20th - March 9, 2010. Physical therapists (which was what I needed)were friendly and good. Food was terrible and needs to be re- designed to help the health of the residents and not add to their problems ! They need a professional dietician to create tasty but healthy low salt, low sugar and low cholestrol diets for elderly people who are liable to suffer strokes and heart attacks as it is !It was a bright cheerful place and I loved the small handy TV's on the moveable arms. Neat idea !

The Rehabilitation Center of Raymore is a clean facility with an excellent staff of therapists. However, there medical staff leaves a lot to be desired. My wife was a patient at that facility in Nov & Dec 2009. A member of the staff dd not even know how to apply hemroid cream. The food is terrible.
