Gifford Primary Care is a part of the Gifford Medical Center, which is a nonprofit, community hospital that operates family health centers and features several specialty clinics throughout Vermont. Founded in 1903, the Gifford Medical Center maintains a 24-hour emergency department and an inpatient care unit. The hospital offers diagnostic and treatment services for heart, lung and pulmonary diseases. The Gifford Medical Center performs surgeries in cases related to orthopedics, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, urology, podiatry, obstetrics and gynecology. The center provides pharmacy, laboratory and ambulatory care services.
