While your getting your hair done they offer refreshments and cookies which is cute. I arrived at the salon at 9:45am, my appointment was at 10am, however the lady who was doing my hair didn't arrive until 10:30am, I apologize I don't remember the stylist name but she is very thin African American and short. First of all, the salon was not busy this was just a punctually issue which really bothered me because they scheduled me for that appointment time. Once my hair was washed I needed to purchase hair to add into mine. the manager, Lawanda, who assisted me seemed knowledgable so I went with her advice to purchase longer and more hair than I probably needed. Once the girl started my hair the process went okay she was quick however I noticed after some time she didn't secure the tracks correctly and my tracks started lifting early on. I requested a specific style in which the stylist did not do at all! I wanted curls and she just straighten the hair then when I asked why she didn't do curls her reply was that she thought the hair looked better straight?! This isn't the tip of the iceberg Once she finished installing the hair it began to tangle little by little. Now! I buy hair often and never have I had an issue with the hair like this! The manager stated that the hair needed to be conditioned before being put in my head but it wasn't. When I normally get a weave installed the hair is never washed first therefore still being manageable and not tangly so when the stylist put the hair in without washing it wasn't a big deal to me. Now here I am weeks later and dealing with this tangly hair! Purchasing hair from this salon is soooo not worth it, BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! The manager didn't assist nor the stylist to satisfy me! Needless to say I'm not going back and don't suggest anyone go to buy hair and get a weave.
