While make some deliveries for work a car hit me from behind. Right away I felt pain in my back. My job was only worried about their car. They didn't believe I was hurt. I found Cleveland and Metz online and gave them a call. They explained I had two cases one for work and one for the car accident. They sent me to doctor and after a few studies they found out I had a messed up disc in my back. I went to the doctor for 6 months and they said I didn't need surgery but my back still hurt. The attorney got me money for my disability and I got a new job. At the end of the day I was happy with these people they did good by me.

John Metz was my attorney and I can honestly say he is the best attorney you could ever hire. The insurance refused to pay on my case and he did a trial to make them pay. The doctors he sent me too understood how injured I was and he used what they said to get me money for my injury. I will send everyone I can to him.

I am very fortunate that I found exceptional representation in Charles Cleveland. He was not always available to talk on the phone when I had a question. BUT..He was ALWAYS available by e-mail and would answer my question quickly. If he couldn't answer he let me know that he would check on it. I never felt like my questions got lost in hyper-space. He always answered even if it was just a "got it" I couldn't always talk to him but if I needed a verbal answer I could talk to one of his staff. He took care of issues in a timely manner and I never felt like I was "Just a File" He stuck with me through thick and thin. And believe me my case had it's ups and downs. I think any review about staff communication is extremaly relevant and ought not o be brush aside as if not representing their practice, because their staff is representing their practice and themselves. Cleveland Mets were my workers compensation attorneys. These guys were great. I met with them personally and they answered all my questions. My case finally settled after a year and a half in court last week. I was very happy with my result after everything I've been through.

It's been an absolute pleasure working with Cleveland & Metz. It's hard when you open the yellow pages and there are so many choices. But luckily I found an attorney who really put their best foot forward. Whenever I called and left a message, my call got returned. If I had a question, my question got answered. My attorney was pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable.

Mr. Metz is a very professional and aggressive gentleman when it comes to representing my case. Our case is complicated and time consuming yet through his confident manner and knowledge of the law he made my wife and i feel we are in good hands. I have read all these reviews, and am I client of the firm. When I call to speak to Rosie (before her leave of abscene) it would take me calling for days and sometimes weeks on end to get her to return my call. My questions weren't difficult just wanting updates and general questions. I then got Anna who seemed more prompt on returning my calls in the beginning but now it seems like they are too busy to talk to me. When I tried to leave a message for Mr Metz to return my call I am told he would only see/talk to me by apt.This makes it hard since I live 60 miles away. I too like some of the other reviewers have gotten extremely frustrated with the staff. I even asked for an email address so I could email Mr Metz and was told that was unavaiable. If anyone has anyone suggestions of how to get calls returned or updates, I would greatly appreciate it. I only give them one star, just because I have to put somithing. Hopefully future it will be 5 star, keeping fingers crossed.

Charles Cleveland has been my attorney sense 2010....it's been a very long and painful time for me but he & his staff have never wavered in helping me with my never ending rants, questions and concerns....as my case is winding down, I know I have been bless to have someone with such dedication to injured workers on my side....No matter the end result I know he has done everything in his power to help me. If you are going through any Workers comp problems you have to contact Charles Cleveland...anyone else will be a waste of your time... We are a current client of Cleveland & Metz. They came highly reccommended by a family member who is also an attorney. We have to say We areHIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in this law firm. Our calls are NEVER returned! It will take us calling a NUMEROUS of times before we can actually speak to our paralegal or that she returns our calls. The receptionists are rude most of the time. When we ask to make an apt to come in and discuss the status of our case with one of the attorney, we are told they are unavaiable to meet with us. This experience has been a NIGHTMARE! We can't wait until our case is settled and we no longer have to deal with them. We would NOT reccomend this law firm to anyone. We can't believe how this suppose to be "our attorney" is treating us this horrible.

He has answered every question, has made me feel comfortable, and has explained this very confusing process of a workers comp back injury to me. He seems more like a friend than a lawyer.
