Schlosser Forge Company manufactures forged rings from an extensive array of alloys. Schlosser's forged metals use the seamless rolling process. Forged rings are used extensively in turbine engines for aircraft and power generation. Schlosser produces forged rings up to 180 inches in diameter. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Firth Rixson, a provider of metals and complex metal products to original equipment manufacturers across a spectrum of industries worldwide. Firth Rixson s primary product divisions are rings, which features Schlosser Forge among seven other ring forging companies; forgings, for use in the aerospace, automotive, defense, rail transport and power generation industries; and metals, which provides special steels, nickel, super-alloys and titanium products.
