What a nightmare! Be warned, this company will try and screw you over at EVERY. SINGLE. TURN. I learned the hard way, they failed to come and fix the issues we had. When it came time to move out and we had questions we were met with such a rude woman on the phone who wouldn't answer any questions and was downright awful. Then when I called back and spoke to Carl he was just as rude, refused to explain or help and kept saying "you didn't do what you were told", like we were children. It has been baffling. We haven't received our security deposit back, instead we got a bill for our neighbors trash that they blamed us for. When I called to dispute the charges I got the run around and finally Carl called me back and had the audacity to insult me. Refused to send me a copy of the bill (even though it has my name on it, my old roommate got the only copy) and insisted I come in person to discuss it. When I said I had called for the last 3 months and provided a forwarding address he refused to listen and insulted me again. I would never in a million years recommend this company to anyone. Stay far far away!!!

I have recently relocated to Raleigh, NC from the West Coast and have been looking for a decent rental property to lease for about a year, until I am settled and start looking to buy. Today I saw a VG Murray & Co Inc. rental property while driving back to work on my lunch hour, so I stopped to write down the Mgmt companys phone number and to peek in the windows to try and get a glimpse inside. When I got on the front porch, I noticed the front door was open a few inches and there were a couple of lights on inside. I peeked my head in and said "hello" but no one answered. I walked in for a quick tour of the place to see if it would be worth my time to call for any details. When I started looking around I saw that the bathtub had a dingy ring around it, the tile grout was almost black. The toilet tissue holder was broken and the medicine cabinet was thoroughly DISGUSTING. Not to mention how filthy the tile on the floor was. The kitchen sink looked like someone had puked in it, the stove top was dirty and their was some sort of patch on the wood flooring in the hallway that was uneven and very ugly. The threshold between the kitchen and the front room was poorly done and has or probably will make someone fall if they don't fix it. After seeing all of this I still called about the property. Answering machine. Then I saw all these horrible reviews about the company. I am seriously skeptical! Think I'll try my luck somewhere else. -WestCoast
