- Emergency CareBleeding can occur anytime from the day of surgery to up to three weeks later, but is most common between day 5 and day 14. Do not ignore it if it occurs. Most of the time is stops spontaneously, but can be serious if it contiues. Please notify us immediately and / or proceed to the emergency room if continuous bleeding occurs.
