      Founded in 1948, Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of programs for disadvantaged youths between the ages of 6 and 18. It offers educational, health and life skills development, drug and pregnancy prevention, gang intervention and sports programs. The organization provides special programs and organizes events for teenagers. It also offers recreational programs related to the development of social and life skills. Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus is a part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which comprises a national network of more than 3,500 neighborhood-based facilities.
