She completed an Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Orthopedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia where she learned from some of the most respected arthroscopic surgeons in the country about the latest techniques in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. These include all arthroscopic surgery of the rotator cuff and other disorders of the shoulder including dislocations and instability, as well as ACL surgery of the knee. - Hand SurgeryFrederic Johnstone, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a clinical interest in hand surgery and upper extremity disorders. After completing medical school, followed by an internship at Madigan Army Medical Center, he then served a little over a year as a flight surgeon in Korea. He also served in Desert Storm with the 28th Combat Support Hospital. He has served as chief of orthopedics, orthopedic residency director, and chief of Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. After retiring from the military, he joined several of his former military colleagues at Rainier Orthopedic Institute. Since then, he has been active in leadership positions at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital serving as president of the medical staff and currently serving on the MultiCare Good Samaritan Regional Oversight Board.
- Orthopedic SurgeryDr. Puttler grew up in Southern California and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1990. After joining the US Army, he received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and was soon introduced to the Great Northwest as an intern at Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis, Washington. After completing his residency in orthopedic surgery, he had several duty assignments in the Army, to include a year in Iraq in command of a Forward Surgical Team. He returned home from Iraq in 2005, and completed a fellowship year in orthopedic trauma at Harborview Medical Center in 2007.
- NeurosurgeryHe has published research articles on orthopedic extremity trauma and reconstruction, experimental neurosurgery, and spine trauma reconstruction. He is one of only two original members of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery in Washington State, and offers minimally invasive spine surgery to his patients. As associate director of the Spine SCOAP (Surgical Care Outcome Assessment Program) Registry, he is working together with other interested doctors to assess and improve spine care for all the residents of Washington State.

- Sports MedicineDr. Charboneau grew up in Missouri and completed medical school at University of Missouri – Kansas City through their accelerated combined Bachelor/MD program. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Missouri – Columbia where she served as chief resident. She then moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin. After training she joined the Medical College of Wisconsin Orthopedic Department as assistant professor. In 2015, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest with her family. She enjoys exploring the area with her husband, daughter and son.
