Kip development will RIP OFF your deposit. We spend many hours cleaning our apartment so it would be move in ready. Some of the stupid comments were "bugs in the light fixtures", "light bulbs were dusty", "dust on the water heater". We're pretty sure no one ever gets their full deposit back and they should be reported to the BBB which we intend on doing. We would not recommend them to anyone. The rating system made us put something but we would give them zero (0) stars!

I was happy with the company and with our apartment until we received our deposit refund minus $75. We deep-cleaned our apartment and left it move-in ready but they deducted $75 from our deposit for what they claim was three hours of cleaning (after we had already spent, probably, 10 hours cleaning). Their comments - they found dust on closet brackets, dust on the back edges of the mini-blinds, and they claimed the window tracks were not completely clean. Before this, I had suggested that people rent from KIP, now I will tell them to avoid it because they are not fair and trustworthy at the end. My recommendation? If you find that you have to rent from KIP (there are not that many options in Pullman), be sure to go through your final check out with them (the manager couldn't make our scheduled appointment and I foolishly didn't reschedule) and make them sign off that all is clean or they will lie and you will lose your deposit money.
