Never rent from either rental solutions or pueblo property management they are both owned by Steve Degenhart I rented 1137 berkley ave from them when we first moved in it was in March and it was still kind of chilly so we needed the heat on the heat didn't work for that whole first week till they finally decided to fix it through out being there I accumulated a list of things that needs to be fixed and brought it in and gave it to them on this list they did some of the things quickly such a putting screens on the windows an spraying for bugs and fixing the weak spot on the floor but major things went unfixed by this time it was summer and we were without an air conditioner for practically the whole summer then the kitchen sink had a leak that still hasn't been fixed by the time we left the place we were able to break our lease because they wouldn't deal with a wasp problem where they were getting inside the house and people in the house were severely allergic we tried to understand the situation where it may take a bit to take care of some of these things but they put in no effort to protect our safety so I finally took legal action and sent a Warranty of Habitability to them I got a call pretty quick with that and Steve had asked me if I'm just wanting out of my lease and at this time i didn't because I wasn't in the situation to be able to move so I told him no I want the problems fixed and he told me well it will be best if you just leave by the end of the month so we did that we were out by the end of the month we are to get our whole deposit back which has been a hassle I keep getting pushed back and forth talking to different people I finally was told that I can get my deposit on Monday at 4 today is Wednesday I called to confirm where to pick the money up at because I have been speaking to both company's I had to leave a message and I would never get a call back this morning I called and got Steve on the phone he was so rude it was not believable I was asking him why they are not returning my calls about my deposit and he snapped at me and said well why don't you just come and get your check and I let him know that that is the reason I am calling to know where to pick up my check I told him it is very unprofessional to not return business calls like this and he got snappy and said go pick up your money it's at such and such place I advise NEVER RENT FROM STEVE DEGENHART!!
