General Info
Built with funds donated by Leo B. Ellsworth, a rancher from Arizona, the Ellsworth Meat and Livestock Center was completed in 1980. The facility housed livestock (both indoor and outdoor pens), show and judging facilities, an instructional meat laboratory, and an arena for animal shows, judging events, and riding classes. With the elimination of the equestrian program and other changes in the College of Biology and Agriculture, the building was renamed the Leo B. Ellsworth Building. Having undergone a major renovation in 2006, the Ellsworth building still houses functions for the College of Life Sciences as well as serving as a university storage facility and a home for Moving Services.
