This is my second Prom dress that I buy for one of my daughters at Abella's. What I like is that they have unique dresses and the prices are affordable. Regarding the service, sadly it is very inconsistent and depends on who you get. For example; I went on Tuesday 3/27 and got Emily (EP, blond young woman), she was absolutely a delight to work with, she was very understanding of my daughter's likes and helped her choose something that was within my budget and my daugther taste. We were so excited about the purchase that I returned on Thursday of the same week with two of my daughter friends. The employee didn't even said a simple greeting, we were there for at least 30 minutes trying out dresses with a mute employee staring at the computer. While this employee was not rude she was dissapointing compared to Emily's enthusiasm and may need further training. Good luck with your business.

Gorgeous gowns, unique and modern. Prices are comparable to other local bridal stores, but the quality of the dresses at Abella Bridal was FAR above average. I had to buy my dress right off the rack though because, like most girls around here, I didn't have enough time to order a new one and have it shipped here in time for my wedding. But the store did have the dress cleaned and pressed for me at no charge. Also, they did not have a seamstress there on site, but they did have a list of them in the area. At first I was kind of frustrated with that, but found that it was much better because I ended up having to rush some of the alterations and I was able to find someone that was able to fit into my schedule rather than me fitting into theirs. Overall great experience there and the staff was exceptional!

I loved the one on one attention I got, not like the other ones I went to where they just pressured you to buy and get you out the door

Beware, When I placed the order for my daughter's wedding dress, I said, "you have your guarantee, I've paid you up front, now what is my guarantee that the dress I've ordered will come in correct and on time?" I was given lots of nice words but the reality was, 2 weeks later we were told that the dress we ordered in white wasn't really available in white but our second choice was. Now it was questionable if it would arrive in time. We ordered our second choice, and was given more nice words that it would arrive in time...2 more weeks went by and then we recieved a call that the second dress was not coming in time. Now, it is too late to order a dress from any place else. After first saying that they would do anything to help, they threatened to sue if I went to a dressmaker to replicate the dress. After saying, "they felt worse than we did" they were very anxious to simply wash their hands of us with a refund but we have no wedding dress, thanks to Abella's incompetence, twice!

I've had to tag along with a lot of engaged people, so I've been to pretty much all the bridal shops in the provo/orem area plus alot in the salt lake area. Abella Bridal is my favorite. Lots of other bridal shops don't take care of their dresses and they are handled carelessly and frequently. Not so at Abella's. They make you take your shoes off and the dresses don't even touch the ground so they're all in excellent condition. The people who work there are also very knowledgeable and personable. It's tucked away in the Shops at Riverwoods and it's a good idea to make an appointment but also feel free to stop by in case they're free.
