General Info

Benton PUD, a public utility since 1946, provides electricity and wholesale broadband to Kennewick, Finley, Benton City, Prosser and outlining areas in Benton County. Office hours are Monday Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We are closed on Fridays. Our Prosser office is closed Monday - Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch. The 24-hour outage number is: 1-888-582-2176. Benton PUD is governed by a three member board of commissioners elected by citizens of Benton County. Each commissioner represents a different sector of the county and serves a six year term. All commission meetings are open to the public.
