The Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center is a part of The Aroostook Medical Center, which is a nonprofit organization. The parent organization is one of the leading providers of health care services in northern Maine. It employs more than 1,100 individuals. The Aroostook Medical Center also provides diagnostic imaging, long-term care, nephrology, occupational health, surgical and dialysis solutions. As an affiliate of EMHS, its facilities include the Horizons Health Services, Community General Healthcare and the County Dialysis Center.
