Yes, they're awesome, but you don't need an appointment anymore. When they opened their new store in Poway in April, they have regular store hours. Their hours are listed on their website (at the bottom of their home page) - TheTriathleteStore.com. As I'm typing this, they're open 7 days a week. Now they've Clif Shots, PowerBar products, GU Brew & all the GU products, more women's cycling jerseys than probably 5 bike stores combined. Their customer service is A1 in my book. They know everything about preparing for your first triathlon, which I was. They sell and rent triathlon wetsuits, they've got an excellent selection of triathlon suits, tri shorts, tri tops, swim goggles, you name it! I can't say enough good things about them. I do Team in Training, and they sell about 20-30 Team in Training Products. For those familiar with The Tour de Poway Bike Ride in October, their store is at the start, in Old Poway Village on Midland Road, 1/2 say between Poway Rd & Twin Peaks.

They really try to find what their customers need. And their selection and prices are awesome. I went in looking for some GU2O whick I bought, but was astounded by their selection of triathlon clothing, goggles, and Primal bike jerseys. And, they must have 200 types of socks on their walls! I ended up buying a Team Illes Baires bike helmet while I was there. One note -- they see people just by appointment, so you'd better call first.
