Low skill, dirty, expensive.

In business for 32 years, Spa Sassé was an amazing experience! I was greeted with a welcoming smile and taken back to a private area to relax prior to my 80 minute massage. The massage was incredible! Extremely thorough, worked the areas I knew needed working as well as those I didn't know I needed. The owners knew my name and made me feel welcome and comfortable upon arrival and departure. I left feeling relaxed and renewed. Lovely, clean and classy facility. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone visiting or calling Portland home.

Now I know why your Spa has a 4 1/2 star rating. Deserves a 5. My wife and I loved our wet treatment. Staff was tremendously attentive. We will return.

Been going here for laser hair removal for 5 years and the service is great. Very friendly staff and really thorough work...never miss a spot! =) I recommend this place for all spa services. Sara the manager honored a groupon deal for me that was expired. Genvieve did my laser and she was awesome! Will be going back for treatment as long as they remain in business!

I really enjoy and benefit from the massages I get at Spa Sasse. I have been able to get in on short notice because they have several massage therapists. All have been excellent! They understand what causes my problems and just how to relieve my achy neck and back. Being so close to them is also a plus.

This is an amazing place to spend the day, went in for their couples spa day package, the bath was perfect and very romantic, the massage was literally out of this world both me and my wife loved it. The cherry on top of it all was the vichi shower treatment i have never felt anything as awesome as that. You seriously have to try it. The spa is in downtown Portland but you would never be able to tell, this really is as the owners portray an oasis of calm in the heart of the city, Just remember to turn your cell phones off so you arent as embarrassed as i was when mine went off :) the music is very relaxing and the lighting was perfect. Thank you Spa Sasse' for making my three year anniversary perfect!

WORST IN OREGON!!!!



This is the WORST business I've dealt with in 10 years. I bought an expensive groupon for salon services and was so excited to use them and see the facilities. Very suddenly, my baby got sick and I was unable to keep my first appointment with them, i had to take my kids to the urgent care. When I spoke to the spa, they had no care or compassion for my situation or for my sick child but just said "you miss the appointment, you forfeight your groupon". Ummmmm, my groupon cost $150 so I don't think so. No business charges a $150 fee for mising an appointment. !!



I've now read many reviews on this place and see quite a few saying this place scammed them, after buying a /Living Social/etc deal and coming in - the employees then say you have to pay more or forfeight your pre-paid package deal...sound familiar?? Not o mention this pace is dirty and the service is rude all around.



I made SEVERAL attempts to call, email and contact them via FB, ALL we're ignored. After 2 months, I finally contacted Gropon and they refunded me in full immediately.



I will NEVER step foot in this joke of a salon. Any "business" who treats their customers like that gets boycotted by me. There are WAY too many wonderful places to go to, don't waste your money or time with this place. Spa Crappaye gets an F for FAIL!

The massage was awesome and the therapist did a great job throughout the experience.

My friend was looking for a place that would take a larger group of people for spa appointments so my friends and I could enjoy my birthday. After she did a bunch of calling around she found that Spa Sasse was more than happy to accommodate our group (which ended up being 6 people). We all were getting different treatments and they did a great job of keeping people moving around

All in all, it was a great experience for me and I highly recommend this spa. The décor is nice but not over the top. Even though it is downtown, it is very quiet and soothing. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. There is no feeling of snootiness or pushing of products. If you want to relax downtown Portland, this is the place!!

The massages and facials have truly been heavenly and left me feeling completely refreshed. Their products are of the highest quality and make my skin feel amazing. Actually, I have yet to be disappointed with any treatment/service I've received there. As far as prices go, I find their prices comparable to other spas that I have been to in the past and going there, at least I can be certain that my money is being well spent.

When you walk by this spa, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but DO go in! My first sensory treat was the wonderful aromas that filled my olfactory system as I entered ~ from all the bath bombs and sea salts they sell. It's much, much larger inside than it looks from the outside. I was greeted by friendly staff and picked up a brochure. After perusing the extensive menu of services, I chose a massage, facial and a pedicure. They were able to get me in right away and escorted me into the back where I changed into a soft white robe & slippers, relaxed with some hot tea, munched a few cookies and filled out a form.

A co-worker told me about the couples spa day, so I took my husband for our anniversary and WOW. Fantastic massage and the water treatment was out of this world! The food was great, the staff was great, the whole day was great. We will be back!

My goal in getting a massage is to loosen up my overly stiff body. This spa has done a better job of this for me than others I have tried. The staff is friendly and quick to tailor my massage to address my issues, and I really appreciate this I find it very calm and relaxing here!!!

As promised I am writing again about my follow up massage at Spa Sasse. Once again it was incredible. I took an hour off work in the afternoon and walked down to the spa. They were on time and very friendly. The place looks great. I don't know who tied those two girl's p***ies into a knot but they are wrong about this place. It is clean and just what the doctor ordered for a relaxing experience. Also, the location is perfect if you work downtown. Try it .

I have had one session of laser tattoo removal done here by the owner, Sara(h?). The waiting area was very relaxing and comfortably lit, and the receptionist was very kind and accommodating. The actual laser treatment was crazy painful as I had expected it would be, but was also surprisingly quick. Literally only took seconds to treat my small tattoo. I am definitely going back for another session

I had a fabulous time. My massage was firm and my facial relaxing.

It was a perfect first time. Massage therapist knew my pain points and addressed them. I feel no pain currently. I will be back.
