Thank you so much to Herman and Kaady's for fixing our dryer today! I called this morning after realizing that my dryer was no longer heating properly or advancing during the timed cycle, Herman answered the phone and was awesome, he was very helpful and personable and offered to come out that same morning! While he was here he replaced the heating element and thermostats and was very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough testing the dryer as he worked making sure that the dryer was heating and cycling properly again. We have bought 2 fridges, a washer and a dryer from Kaady's and could not be more pleased with them as a company! I use my washer/dryer often as I have young kids! A big thanks to Herman and Kaady's for taking care of us today! We will happily continue to be repeat/long time customers for all of our appliance needs!

Had a great experience with George; went in to buy a washer dryer and went back the next week for a fridge! George was easygoing and nice to work with; very knowledgeable and willing to help and knows when to step back. We asked for a 2 years parts and service warranty. The deliver was included in the price (got a great, very fair deal) and we live a bit outside Portland. There was a little hiccup about when to deliver the w/d, but they were more than happy to accommodate us and come back when we were available!

Have not needed to call for service, but George's name is on the line and I trust he would go out of his way to ensure our needs were met, even if it would mean replacing our appliances with new ones.

Thanks, George!

I bought a dishwasher, range and refrigerator from Kaady Appliance. I thought the selection of appliances was good! They have more selection then some of the big chain stores. The delivery went well and I my warranty has just expired and have had zero problems here. I would recommend this company.

I bought a washer and dryer from Kaady and have had to have my first dryer replaced and the second one has had 3 service calls on the dryer in six months and needs another. Now they are saying they cannot look up my purchase and are refusing to help.

This review (and stars) will be updated as the saga continues.

Purchased a nice used refrigerator from the Tigard store on Thursday (12/3) with a 6 month warranty on parts and labor. It was delivered and installed as planned on Saturday (12/5). Delivery guys were nice and professional getting a large fridge through some tight gaps.

Unfortunately after it was installed, 24 hours later it still has not cooled appropriately (thermometer says 65 degrees). I know the fans and compressor are running and the condenser coils are free of dust build up.

Called Tigard store on Sunday (12/6) to request service technician. Service technician (Robert) returned call Monday (12/7) am to set up appointment for Thursday (12/10) around noon, earliest available for my area.

UPDATE 12/10 - Robert arrived as planned around noon on Thursday. He checked out the fridge and the freon was to low. He recharged the freon and it started to blow cold. Within the hour the fridge was at the correct temp. The freezer got down to temp a couple of hours later. As long as there isn't a leak in the system it should be good to go for a while. Got 6 month warranty to wait it out.

UPDATE 12/12 - water started dripping out of the ice/water dispenser. Turns out the ice is melting and the freezer isn't cold anymore, holding about 50 degrees. Called JB (manager) at the Tigard store about possibly returning and exchanging it. He's going to talk to Robert about the fridge and get back to me.

UPDATE 12/17 - so I've called the Tigard store on Monday and Tuesday to follow up since they weren't calling me back. JB said he needed to get in touch with the owners to see what he could do. Apparently the owners are very difficult to get a hold of. On Tuesday JB suggested I call the Portland store since doing an exchange would be difficult, not to mention I don't trust the products that they are selling. Called Portland store Wednesday and Thursday morning. They kept wanting to send the repair guy out, not understanding that we've already gone that route and the fridge still doesn't work. Left a message for George to call back. Last chance...

...(near the end of the day) still no call from George. Called Abe at the Portland store back. Had to give him the same story I did earlier I the day. Told him that I needed to talk to someone who can actually refund me my money. Abe still jerking me around until I mentioned taking this next level. Apparently they may be able to do a refund and pick up the fridge...we'll see...

I have bought a washer, dryer, stove and 2 refridgerators from these guys in the las 20 years...The washer I bought 12 years ago just broke down yesterday.(after using it almost daily) The stove did have a problem with one of the burners, but it was repaired. This is the best place for a good price and good repair service.

*AVOID THEM* Terrible service. Hard to get a hold off and they never once returned calls as promised. Service tech came out three times and never could fix my appliance. He promised me a refund but after almost a month of calling to obtain the promised refund I was told the tech was wrong and I could only get a refund if I had purchased the appliance from them. Terrible company and terrible customer service. I'm out almost $100.00. Avoid them!

If you're looking to get royally ripped off, look no further than these guys. After a miserable and costly experience we broke down today and ordered a brand new washer and dryer from Sears to replace the junky set we paid $800 for at Kaady's just over six months ago. This was no doubt THE WORST purchase and service experience we've encountered. Oh, the sales folk are nice as punch to get you to buy from them, but immediately afterward, we experienced major problems, first with the dryer, then with the washer. Within a week , the dryer needed a whole new circuit board. It took Kaady's serviceman a month to finally resolve the problem, but the dryer still operated very noisily and has never dried the clothing without a second finishing run. The washer started leaking water and they wanted to charge us $150 to replace the pump while still under warranty, claiming this was "operator error". You will have to fight with Kaady to get them to honor an appointment, parts and service. In the 6 month warranty period, Kaady had to come back 5 or 6 times, not to mention two times when they just never showed up at all. Today, the washer started leaking again and, of course, the warranty expired a few days earlier. We have had it with these lemon appliances and with the shysters at Kaady's. We made a huge mistake coming here and will warn anyone who asks to stay away.
