I got a chunk of my right arm done by Matt and my boyfriend got both of his forearms done by hime (both Matt's original work that is in his portfolio in the store). I get compliments all the time and I love the shop. Very comfortable and the guys all seem pretty cool. I've told a few friends to go there and they've all gotten great tattoos as well. =)

This place was awesome, my fiancee and I wanted to get engagement tattoos, we called on a Sunday, Steve called us back, then stayed late for us so we could get into Portland and get our ring fingers done. It's a hardcore tattoo place, lots of loud heavy metal music playing and some interesting bumperstickers on the wall, but don't be intimdated, they were great to us and did a really nice job.

I love this place. I have had 3 tattoos by jasin and one by matt. jasin does great work i have 2 tiger lillies one on each shoulder from him and a big tribal on my lower back from him he is awesome. the one i have from matt is a clover on my wrist with some fine lined tribal coming off of it. I LOVE THEIR WORK!!! I would highly recommend to anybody.

paul has done a sleeve & complete backpiece on me { covering up other work i had that wasnt nearly as good as the work i got from paul } . i am very happy with my art and everyone asks " where did u get that done ? " i let them all know " hallowed ground " jasin does some wild stuff & matt does great tribal & lettering . pauls use of color will blow u away , bring him an idea & he will come up with a masterpiece ! ive been tattood by many artists & now i only go 2 paul and would like to save u all some pain & money .... just go 2 hallowed ground !! very professional and clean environment , low keyed with music 2 relax 2 !!!!

Basically in a nutshell: Hallowed Ground is the best place I have been to. The atmosphere is conferrable. The guys are friendly, and all of the work is custom hand drawn so you won?t meet another person with the same tattoo. They know what there doing, and pay attention to detail. The pricing is very reasonable, and they go over the aftercare step by step and then give out a printed page of aftercare do?s and don?ts, as well as there number if you have any questions. I have had two tattoos and two piercing done by them and wouldn?t go anywhere else for future work I may want. I also have three friends and a brother who have been there and they loved it and plan to go back.

I got a small tribal tattoo done by the little guy with the high pitched voice and the red lines all over his arms who specializes in tribal tattoos(sorry I don't remember his name). I told him what I wanted and he called me in a couple days later and he'd drawn up five or six different versions and let me pick. One was completely perfect in every way. It cost $20 for him to custom draw my tattoo but when I got the piercing he discounted $20 off the final price. The cost was pretty reasonable. I have another friend that got a tribal tattoo done by the same guy and his looks absolutely fantastic too. I've gotten comments on my tattoo from all kinds of people who want to know where it was done. I'd totally recommend going here if you want a tribal.
