This company poorly designed and installed a geothermal open loop HVAC system in our new home. The system is not big enough for the size of our house. They disregarded the installation manual with regard to water quality and after only 3 years the system completely failed. There are numerous refrigerant leaks in the copper lines and the compressors. They also did a very poor job on the duct work, some of it isn't even connected to anything. They refuse any wrong doing on their part resulting in a financial loss to us. We are going to be forced to repair the duct work and replace the whole system at our own expense even though they are responsible for the damage. They have our money and we have nothing.

This company was subcontracted to install a geothermal open loop system with two units, one upstairs, one downstairs. They did not test for hydrogen sulfide or even recommend that the water be tested first and as a result both units completely failed after 3 years and will have to be replaced with new units. The manufacturer also voided the warranty. Trying to get this problem resolved with Sertech has been impossible! They refuse in every way to be held accountable for this. The installation manual clearly states that no hydrogen sulfide is allowed. They either did not read it or they just ignored that. They failed to properly install the system and WILL NOT do what is needed to correct their mistake.
