      Porterville Unified School District provides elementary, middle and high school academic education and student support services. It is a consolidated school district and operates various schools, such as Los Robles Elementary School, Bartlett Middle School and Porterville High School. The district s middle and high school curricula includes English, foreign languages, math, science, social studies, and visual and performing arts. The district high schools also provide courses in accounting, business administration, marketing, United States history, civics, economics and computer information technology. It also provides courses in agriculture, and physical and special education. Porterville Unified School District offers various extracurricular activities, such as dance, drama, bingo, band, interactive cultural clubs and student council. The district s schools also have libraries and media center providing literary sources, magazines and newspapers and Internet search tools. The middle and high schools provide various sports activities, including basketball, football, cross country and wrestling. The district is located in Porterville, Calif.
