Lakeside Plumbing came to my home to repair a leak in an outdoor water pipe. There are three issues of note related to their service:
1) I was charged $292.50 for 55 minutes of work. The repair consisted of replacing a small plastic female adapter, so the company essentially charges $300 per hour for labor.
2) The two guys who came to do the repair sat in their van on their phones for 40 minutes of their 55 minute visit. This was easily observed, as their van was parked on the street immediately in view of my front window.
3) I called the company the same day to report the first two issues. I was told that the "head plumber" would contact me to discuss the situation, yet this person refuses to return my calls.
