They r so courtious

My 2 autistic boys and I recently visited the North Shore clinic behind portage high school.....i made sure to give them a heads up on the situation with both my kids. Also wanted to make sure it was ok that I bring them both in at the same time. I'd been told several times before from other Drs and clinics that it was to much for the staff and Dr for them both to be seen. And I would need to find a sitter or someone to watch the other one of course we never went back. On the day of our Drs appointment I was prepared for another bad experience since I'd already had so many. However I was in shock when that turned out not to be the case. The staff was more than ready for us. My boys and I were treated with respect, plenty of support from the staff, with all the help the boys didn't have 1 autistic meltdown and took the visit better than they had ever before. The Dr was amazing. He listen to the problem I'm having and even went at the boys pace with the examination. The social worker spoke to me and gave me numerous referral to help with the financial burden of carrying for 2 disabled boys on my own. I couldn't of asked for a better day. I highly recommend North Shore!

I have visited NorthShore Health Centers several times now in the past six months. The staff has been super polite, professional and friendly. This is from the front desk to the lab technicians along with the doctor.

Dr. Girn is a Doctor that is compassionate to his patients and truly cares that they receive the very best care. He doesn't mess around and gets to the point when talking to patients. Very professional. I am glad to say he is my Doctor and give him the highest rating possible. 1 to 10 he is a strong 10 the very best.

Poor communication amongst staff members. I've been told I would need certain procedures done by the receptionists (and pay up front) before I could see the Physician only to confirm that I actually didn't need them. Waiting time is very long, but actual time with the provider is very brief.

Dr. Cane is my dentist does a great job everytime

Great Doctors, I was surprised at how nice everyone was and how well myself and my family were taken care of. I can not say enough nice things about the staff there thanks again NorthShore.

I'm very surprised to read the reviews on Northshore. My daughter was born March 2010 and all of my prenatal visits were there. My appointments were always on a Friday at the Portage location, and I was always in and out in about an hour if that. Dr. Hess was absolutely wonderful and so were most of the nurses. I'm not sure if there is new staff or what, but my experience was surprisingly great. I did not go in with the best expectations.

The staff is completely unprofessional and unknowledgeable. I agree with every review towards them, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay away.

This place is horrible, I will never go here again! They lie to you about the price and then after your visit is don't and paid for, they send you a bill saying you owe more. They you call them and they say they'll take care of it, and here it is 4 months later and they claim they never talked to me, and they want their money. I'm not paying them ever. this place was originally a free clinic, what happened? they get money from the government and still take ours! I make no money and still they want $35 a visit because they are going off the income of my boyfriend. Well guess what, he doesn't pay my medical bills and never will. So, if you want to sit in a waiting room 3 hours past your app time, be lied to, treated like crap by everyone that works there, and sent out to get huge bills by tests you don't need by all means go to northshore.
