Great place to fast service long wait it's worth it

Aunt Catfish's has continued to improve and change over the years. The food is as great as always and the atmosphere is better than ever. The owners have sunk a ton of money into renovations and the place looks brand new. No wander they have been is business for almost 30 years. Stop in and see all of the improvements. They are truly one of a kind.

I like aunt catfish's,I think its to pricy and the service sucks,but the food is great!!!!

Don't miss Aunt Catfish's Sunday Brunch!!! Expect a little wait to get in but it is worth every mouthful. The disappointing part of the brunch was there is so much good food that it was hard to taste everything!!!! I guess will just have to go back!!!

Good down home eating with an excellent view of the Halifax river. Fresh seafood , large salad bar with a hot bar that has baked beans, cheese grits, stewed apples and more. Hot cinnamon rolls with the meals make or dessert very hard to do. They had superb entertainment outside to make the wait very bearable on memorial weekend and it continues all summer long. Great service , very good value. Don't fill up on the salad bar although its easier said than done. YOU WILL ENJOY. Oh yeah theres a dock to walk on , playground for the kids and a scenic cruise leaves from their also.

Aunt Catfish is an excellent bridge between the low tier restaurants (chains) and the high buck establishments.

They serve many varieties of sea food but none of it seems overly fresh. It still tastes great, but doesn't seem all that much beyond a red lobster.

Despite that, you will enjoy the surroundings of being right on the river as long as nothing died and washed up on the banks nearby. Sometimes it can be smelly.
