In August of 2008, Dr. Mario L. Pereira formed the Southwest Florida Spine Institute in Port Charlotte, Florida. The vision for his institute was based on the philosophies he adopted during his fellowship training at the world famous Texas Back Institute for true atraumatic minimally invasive spine surgery. That vision is to provide top quality patient centric care that is driven by excellence in treatment of chronic neck and back conditions.
