It holds dual accreditations, which include a national accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies and the Florida Commission for Law Enforcement Accreditation on the state level. Located in the heart of Broward County in Florida, it serves more than 85,170 residents and continuously strives to provide professional, community-oriented law enforcement services. The department is comprised of four divisions, which include patrol, investigations, general services and support services. Plantation Police Department is located in Plantation, Fla.
