Provided by YP.comI highly recommend Gunmaster
They provide excellent service & good prices.
They do FFL transfers (from FFLs only) at a low cost & gladly sell items on consignment.
They have a great selection of guns on hand and a large amount of unique consignment items that are constantly updated.
They also have a very good selection of Reloading supplies & equipment, in addition to a wide selection of ammunition, magazines & accessories.
They also specialize in Estate sales / collection sales & can help you maximize the value of a collection by both putting it on local consignment as well as listing it online for wider exposure on high value / unique items.
They all work together, so you don't have to worry about anybody pushing you to buy something & anybody will be happy to help you.
They have a wide set of specialties so you'll find someone to answer your questions in depth about most any type of firearm you are looking for, or shooting sport style you would like to get into.
They are open Tuesday through Saturday (Closed Sunday & Monday)
They have been my preferred store for over 10 years & I've never had any problems.

If you are not willing to wait or to talk reasonably to some good ol' boys, don't waste everyones time here. I have been a repeat customer and seen some of the people that they need to deal with. Having served in a sales industry when I was in college, I understand how tough dealing with the public can be. They are a good bunch and the prices on guns go up and down with the demand. Worth your time to swing by and look and talk. I will continue to go even after seeing the reviews on line. Not a country boy, but raised with manners and living in Texas for 40+ years. Good ol' boys are fun to visit with, and know about guns.

Yep they are fairly well stocked as gun shops go,they may even have something your in need of but do be prepaired to pay for it.They may be over staffed at times and that's why they charge more.I just can't understand why they claim to have gun smiths in this ad while outside the store they have a sign clearly posted "no gun smith" I supose any body can claim to be a gun smith but I'd concider the safety factor first.I know the world if full of grads from the school of hardknocks and Whats-a-matta-U.But when a customer brings in the new parts and they can't install them in 2 Months time I'd say they have no gun smith.

Provided by YP.comI was recommended to the shop by a local gun store. I had a Colt that was heavily corroded from prolonged exposure to water. The pistol was frozen. The guys behind the counter provided an assessment and recommended some steps to break it free. They were very friendly and helpful. Their recommendations actually worked and I was able to break down the pistol. When I went in, I had expected to shell out $50 bucks just to get the smith to look at it. Instead, I left with my money in my pocket and a few good suggestions. Based on my experience, I will try them for future purchases.
a price gouger! I don't mind paying a little more to go to the local guy instead of the big box store, but paying $1200 for a rifle at Gunmaster then seeing the same exact rifle at Academy one day later for $999 is just infuriating. I found the service to be OK, but honestly, the guys at academy were just as knowledgeable and super enthusiastic about helping me out.My advice is to just go to Academy Sports on University in McKinney, they have a great selection of ammo, firearms and accessories and you will certainly pay much less than at gunmaster.Like i said, i dont mind paying the local shop a little more, but this was excessive and I hope that this review will deter at least a few (hopefully many) people from shopping there. I buy several guns every year, and i guarantee, Gunmaster will never get another penny from me for anything.

In 24 years of recreational and competitive shooting in the Metroplex area, this store ranks the lowest. I have been in this store many times to try to like it because of the great inventory but just refuse to be talked down to or treated like they are doing me a favor by talking to me. The last time I went in (yesterday) a sandy haired guy with glasses was too busy reading a magazine to look up when I asked whether they carried a particular brand of pistol. Too bad, I had $2000 in my pocket at the time to buy it or have them order it provided we could work out a fair price. Also too bad, I reload several thousand rounds a month so components are a big part of my monthly shooting budget. Good luck with this place and do your homework on pricing before going in...
Great service and very knowledgeable staff. Gunsmith is usually backed up but most good gunsmiths are. Prices are usually better than the gunshows and the store stands behind what it sells. Good selection of reloading stuff. The option to special order guns not currently in the store is a big plus. I would shop there again and recommend to others.
