Dr. B. Singh is very patient and I never feel rushed. He spends time listening, explaining, and putting me at ease. I really appreciate his care over the last 6 years.

This was my first time bringing my mother to Dr. Singh and I am very pleased with the experience. Dr Singh shows an abundant amount of care for his patients. He took to time to explain everything in detail. He seems very trustworthy I feel very comfortable with my mother being in his care.

- Dr. Bhupinder Singh was born in Ambala, India and grew up in Delhi, India. He was teaching business organization, business law and statistics at Delhi University when his father had two heart attacks and underwent coronary angiogram in Delhi. He accompanied his father to the US for his open-heart surgery at the Texas Medical Center in 1988. He was very intimately involved in taking care of his father who did not speak fluent English. He was so fascinated by medicine and cardiology that he decided to change his career from business to medicine. He started at a local community college in Houston and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland in 1995, followed by Doctor of Medicine at the University of Virginia in 1995. He trained in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic from 1999 to 2002. He then worked as a Hospitalist at the Cleveland Clinic for a year and continued his research in cardiology. He subsequently focused on acute care and worked in Emergency Medicine in Cleveland Ohio. Subsequently, he decided to pursue his passion in cardiology at the University of Connecticut, Hartford Hospital where he trained first in cardiovascular disease followed by interventional cardiology. Dr. Singh is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound. He started his career first in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where he worked for a couple of years before making Plano his home in 2010. He currently works and lives in Plano. He volunteers at the local medical camps all over the Metroplex. Despite a busy practice, Dr. Singh spends adequate time listening to patients and addressing their concerns. He is married to Navneet who is a Physician Assistant and assists Dr. Singh in his practice. Dr. Singh enjoys spending time with his family, reading, jogging, yoga and traveling.
