Cliff's Taxidermy is located in Plainfield, IL and has been in business since 1995. Since the beginning I've mounted thousands of white-tailed deer, hundreds of birds, fish, and life-size mounts ranging from a 900 lb. Alaskan brown bear to a bobwhite quail. I've also done fish ranging from freeze dried minnows for habitat bases to 10 foot reproduction marlins. At Cliff's Taxidermy, we are very meticulous about their work and go to great lengths to make sure that our clients are satisfied, from taking several crucial measurements of the game, skinning, fleshing, and almost most importantly, detailed salting (drying of the hide in preparation to ship to a tannery), to the mounting process.
