Mineo's Pizza House

Its the best . If you can only have One slice of any pizza, It must be MINEOS !!!!!

I have been going to Mineo's, since I arrived in Pittsburgh in 1988. The Pie's made here are world caliper, my favorite is the White Pizza, which has a aromatic garlic flavor. The ambience is great!
I first lived in Sewickley, and used to make, the one hour trip, weekly, to Squirrel Hill.

I now live in the city, and it takes much less time,
to get to the Best of the Burgh's Pizza House

I will admit I am addicted to Mineo's pizza. But I am not alone. The pizza has been a favorite of mine since my very first slice. I went to Allderdice which is right up the street and often enjoyed cutting class to come down and grab a slice or two. I love them now even more since they have added the new generation of workers. It brings the young feeling back into Mineo's. Plus most of the workers there are just as HOT as the pizza's coming fresh out of the oven. While waiting for your pizza to come out you can often be entertained by the crew and their antics.

i would have to say mineo's is the second best pizza in pittsburgh behind vincent's pizza park. i have eaten at mineo's many times and go to mineo's more than vincent's simply because it is closer. the pizza's here are generally great, but i have had a bad pizza here now and then. one time i ordered a pepperoni pizza and it seemed they just took a cheese pizza somebody ordered and never picked up and just threw pepperoni on it hours later. it was kinda obvious because their pepperoni is always under the cheese.

The pies are something you need to live. Part of the ""P"" foods, Pizza, popcorn, potato chips, Pasta, pretzels and pork. You the best pizza at Mineo's and the rest of the ""P"" foods come later.

Mineo's serves the best pizza I have ever had. I still make a special trip to Mineo's whenever I am in Pgh because I have never found another pizza that was close to their equal.

What can you say about the pizza at this place...it's the best in the city...heck, it may be the best in the country. By leaps-and-bounds the best pizza I have ever had!!!

Mineo's is the best in town. Infact I think it might be the best pizza in the mid-atlantic (that means you pittsburgher's). At times it can be a little salty, but over all it's the best in town. Though it is a littel pricy. For a large with two toppings, delivered, and with tip can run you $16.00. But for a treat, it's worth it.

The only draw back is that it is not close to where I live
