      A local favorite of mine

      The Gmiters became filthy rich cashing in on grieving Eastern European families from all the ethnic churches in South Side (some of which have been demolished). These families didn't know any better, after being brainwashed by the Catholic Church, but to pay a small fortune to bury their dearly beloved. Ta-da! Gmiter (Slovak origin) to the rescue. Yep, they sold them the most expensive caskets (bronze), the most expensive funeral package, blah, blah, blah. They sold many an Eastern European family down the river. These families often paid $7,000 and up to bury their loved ones. Thanks for ripping the South Side and Mount Oliver customers off, Dear John.

      Can count on them

      John and Carol Gmiter go above and beyond the call of duty to assist a grieving family. If ever there could be two angels, sent to lighten the burden after a death, they are John and Carol. I can not express in words my gratitude for all of the many ways they've helped me and my family throughout the years.
