General Info

Pittsburg Middle School provides basic skills instruction in language arts, math, science and social studies to students in grades six through eight. In addition to the core subjects, it offers physical education and exploratory classes, including art, family and consumer science, Spanish, general music and technology applications. It provides music classes for beginners as well as advanced band, chorus and orchestra. The school has more than 1,300 students, and offers a variety of enrichment and encore classes in a variety of subjects, such as technology literacy, home economics and consumer science. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, golf, softball, cross country and cheerleading.
