Went on Saturday night, every other place around was full and this one was empty so it was kind of our last choice. So glad we walked in, it was a wonderful experience, one of the best Mexican foods I have had in the area. Yes, better than Don Pedro across the street. Anyway, a couple of minutes later more people started to arrive so it was half full I would say. As soon as we arrived we got chips and 3 different kinds of salsas, even a queso salsa (not a dip, so it is a little runny just like the consistency of a salsa should be), it was delicious. My husband got the carnitas and it was plenty of food, the pork was wonderfully seasoned, the rice the beans and salads all looked and tasted very fresh. I got the carne asada and to my surprise it came with a baked potato topped with a sour cream and cheese salsa and it was the best of the best. My plate had the typical sides: rice, refried beans, salad but it also came with guacamole, sour cream and the “surprise” baked potato. Everything came with tortillas, plenty of food for the price you pay. The kids had a quesadilla and it was plenty for them as well. I think this place needs to advertise a little more, being that is next to Don Pedro, but once people get to try this place by accident (just like we did) am sure they will be switching. I would definitely recommend this place, it is clean, nicely decorated, service was wonderful, and they even gave us a coupon for 15% off for our next visit!!
