John is very knowledgeable and willing to share all the techniques he has learned. I really enjoyed his 6 week program. My fiancé and I learned a lot and had a great time doing it.

John was a pleasure to deal with. I live in NY and placed a gift card order over the phone. He made the process easy and pleasurable and made sure the card was delivered on time. Highly recommend!

Absolute blast! Fiancé’s first time throwing and she was able to get all the steps down due to johns great instruction! I have experience on the wheel and he was able to instruct us both based off of experience level while keeping it fun and exciting for everyone, while teaching me some very good new methods on the wheel that just make sense!
I would suggest this class to anyone young or old, it is a great experience everyone should have at some point. Look into the other opportunities the studio offers as well there is a lot of great value in this little studio!!

Stopped in spontaneously with my family and it was the best 3 hours of our life’s. Our experience was wonderful. John, the instructor was so funny and attentive to everyone attending the class. Making pottery is fun but the owners made the experience better. I want all my friends, family, and anyone looking for something to do on your spare time to come here. Hubby and I will be coming back for a double date. We can’t wait.

I found this on Groupon and it reminded of the movie ghost! Something I’ve always wanted to try since a little girl! Desert rock pottery allow this dream to come true and I was able to experience this with my only son. When I tell you not only did we have an amazing bonding time together but we were able to show our artistic side and create a pottery that will go perfect in our garden. Desert rock pottery is a perfect place to learn how to make a pot from clay! they had all the materials needed, the instructor was mine blowing… very nice, hands-on, and very intelligent. We felt very comfortable…. we were greeted with open arms and left feeling like a part of the pottery family now! This experience was perfect! Thank you so much for providing this service to the community! I LOVE IT!
