I've been a fan of Kelleys' since the 1980's, when Joe was in charge. Kelley's is the only car dealer I trust. Be prepared to make an appointment at least a day or two in advance, but they always finish repairs when they say they will. On many occasions, repairs were not even needed (they talked me out of having them).

Unusually honest and skilled mechanics but the tradeoff is that you have to make an appointment a day or more in advance. I hate to wait! Still, Kelley's always get the job done when they say they will, usually at a much lower price. Kelley's always keeps their word about everything so, in my opinion, they are worth the wait!

Don't buy tires here! They're too expensive. I only bring my cars here for repairs, they get five stars for that. At least they keep their word and won't cheat you. I think it's much cheaper to go here for repairs but get your tires from a discounter (shop around).

At Kelley's, you have to make an appointment days in advance (because they are so honest and thus popular) and they charge the book rate for every repair (as do most repair shops.) Kelley's doesn't offer make-believe discounts or bait-and-switch specials, like most other auto repair companies do. However, Kelley's Auto Repair actually saves you money because they don't hassle you into having unwarranted repairs done - and they always fix things properly. I have been a loyal customer for years. Unlike many review writers, I am a real patron and NOT the owner. Kelley's has NEVER advertised anywhere and is in an obscure location, yet still manages to thrive because they are so honest and competent that they can rely on word-of-mouth advertising.

Kelley's is extremely honest but their prices are standard retail, like most other shops charge. Based on my experience, you will save gargantuan amounts of money at Kelley's because they only perform necessary repairs. They don't talk you into fixing things that aren't broken, like almost all other repair shops do. Kelley's is usually booked up because they have so many loyal customers (unlike most competitors), so you will need to make an appointment in advance. If you don't want to wait, Eppie's on Bustleton Avenue or Dave's on Red Lion Road are decent choices, although their prices will be far higher, especially the latter.
