      Dr. Sobanko has been recognizedby Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor in America. In 2017 he was honored by the Clinical Practice at the University of Pennsylvania as the "Provider of the Year" and Philadelphia Magazine named him a "Top Doctor" in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He has been the recipient of the Bernett L. Johnson Attending Teaching Award. In 2023, he was elected to the Academy of Master Clinicians, Penn Medicines highest clinical honor.
