This organization is an all volunteer organization whose focus is on safety and security issues in healthcare and educational facilities. It costs $50 a year for a membership but the return is tenfold. Whenever I have a question that needs to be answered I send it to their e-mail network and my problems are solved the next day. They have an informative newsletter that is issued monthly. They offer college scholarships to members, their spouse, and children in the amounts of $1,000. They raise the money for their program by sponsoring a golf benefit, individual donations and a networking seminar. They have informative meetings each month at different locations. The meetings are sponsored by a member facility and lunch is always included. They give awards to persons nominated by a member who did something outstanding in a safety or security event. Each member gets a membership card and a one time certificate of membership. They are the best organization I have ever belonged to.
