China Dragon

Well, I was SO excited to hear the menu as I decorated the Christmas tree. I decided I was in the mood for Chinese, and I didn't want to leave the house to go get it, since I've been busy all day. My Boyfriend told me about the appetizer and two teas, etc. from the online menu. Shrimp in Lobster sauce? Sign me up!

When he called, they put him on hold for a bit which happens. He asked a few questions about the menu and was ready to order. They even told him what the price would be if he ordered whatever he was ordering. They asked his phone number and a minute later asked our address.

""Oh, I'm sorry, that's out of our radius.""
(Pause...)
""What? We're like, right down the road from you. How is that out of your radius?""
""Our radius is five miles.""
(Another short pause)
""Yeah... and we're less than five miles from you. We're just down the road... I don't get it.""
""No... your address is out of our radius. I'm sorry sir.""

SO now I am sitting here, hungry, covered in glitter, and pissed as HELL because I have no Chinese food because we're ""out of their radius"". Even if we WERE more than five miles away (someone get these people a freakin GPS, we're 4 miles away at the MOST)... WHAT RESTAURANT IN THE AUSTIN METRO AREA HAS A DELIVERY SERVICE AND A RADIUS OF FIVE MILES!?!?

So, no, I dunno how good their food is, and frankly, I don't care, either. Service is where it starts - or ends. In this case, ENDS!!!

Me and my boyfriend have been going to china dragon weekly or at least a few times a month and we love it. The food is amazing and the service is good as well. The people there are so nice and accomodating. I would definately recomend Cina Dragon.

Excellent, friendly wait staff. Delicious and reasonably priced meals, a very satisfying experience. Clean and well maintained dining area.

I visit the restaurant weekly at least & know the owner personally. He has never raised his voice at anyone, much less his employees. The food always slams and the staff is always friendly.

the food was average at best. Our waiter made an honest mistake and the owner ripped him a new one in front of everyone in the restaurant. When I voiced my complaint the owner was rude...I got a look at his kitchen and it didnt' look like it was very clean either. I will never go back.

This is a family staple and a regular place where my friends go to lunch. The food is consistently good at a reasonable price.

This review is long overdue. We've been eating at China Dragon for a few years now. The food is very consistant and always great. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. I've never had a meal there or take out that I didn't enjoy. Highly recommended!

Great food! Great service! Tend to over-do the black pepper a little bit, but otherwise excellent. Fresh veggies and lean white meat chicken -even in the breaded dishes. YUM YUM.
