Sing to God in your hearts.” (From God’s Word Translation) As the theme verse for Godstruck Ministries 4 Kids, Colossians 3:16 speaks to the heart and soul of why this ministry exists. Our mission is to help children hide God’s Word and principles in their hearts through His wonderful gift of music. Godstruck Ministries has produced an entertaining CD with 11 songs that are contemporary, fun and appealing, particularly for children 6-12 years of age but enjoyable for kids of all ages. Listeners will follow the adventures of Kori and Anthony who encounter musical characters such as Matt Cello (M.C.), Joni Microphonie, Buddy Bass and the Dissonance Brothers. Each song features a bible verse or verses with dialogue that can be used as its own devotion, or the entire CD can be enjoyed as a complete story. Sing God's Word - Psalms in Tune is a valuable learning tool that is audio entertainment at its best.The majority of the adult voice talent and soloists for this project are students from The Center for Worship at Liberty University, many who are or have been participants in the ministry teams that represent the school. Our mixing and mastering engineer works in the Nashville, TN area and is actively involved in producing many superior, well-known projects. It is very apparent that God has brought this album together with many talented individuals on board to craft what we believe is a quality work with a divine purpose.We have created a simple companion curriculum designed to meet the needs of preschool and younger elementary-aged students. This curriculum can be used as Sunday school material, with Children's Church small groups, as part of a home school curriculum, or in individual family devotions. For each devotional segment the curriculum provides an activity/object lesson, commentary, an appropriate coloring page, an accompanying Bible story from My First Study Bible: Exploring God's Word on My Own by Thomas Nelson Publishers, and suggestions for movement or reflection for the song. The coloring pages and several games can be downloaded for free from the website.In keeping with the ministry's desire to encourage children to learn God's Word, Godstruck Ministries has partnered with Patchwork Ministry in Roanoke, VA, an organization that ministers to children and families in adoptive and foster care situations. For each curriculum or stuffie sold Godstruck Ministries is donating part of the proceeds to provide Bibles and other Christian materials to these families.This is God's Word and His work for the world, and we give Him all the glory and praise for what has been and will be accomplished.
