Built in 1841, The Hermitage Inn and Taphouse, is one of the oldest properties in Petersburg and older than the state of West Virginia. In 2022, this property underwent extensive renovations. The Inn features 31 comfortable and modern guest rooms that have mini fridges in each room. Older, dated hotel but VERY clean with a very good continental breakfast. Very clean sheets and very clean bath tub. Gave it three stars because the price was more expensive than a Super 8 but not as nice. The on site gift shop is good as is the restaurant. The staff was also very friendly!
