      We are proud to say that East Petaluma Animal Hospital (EPAH) is an American Animal Hospital Association certified hospital (AAHA). East Petaluma Animal Hospital, EPAH, was started in 1992 in the Arroyo Shopping Center in southeast Petaluma. From its inception, dogs, cats, and exotic pets have had a place to go for excellent medical care. Purchased by Dr. Rupiper in March, 2000, EPAH has added many new services. Hours have been extended to all weekdays and also extended hours on Saturdays.
      Business History
      Dr. Rupiper is the veterinary practice owner who purchased EPAH in March, 2000. Dr. Rupiper has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1991. Residing in the wine country and owning this hospital had been a goal for many years. Dr. Rupiper graduated from UC-Davis after completing four externships in avian medicine at various specialty institutions throughout California. He is an avian specialist, and board certified in avian practice from 2000-2013. He maintains a strong special interest in avian medicine as well as exotic animal practice. Dr. Rupiper sees all small companion animals at EPAH, especially dogs, cats, and birds, as well as small mammals.
